Meeting new swingers for the first time can be exciting but also stressful because of all the uncertainties and expectations. These one-on-one first-time meetings can quickly become very awkward encounters. Enter the mini swinger meet and greet to save the day.

Let’s start off by looking at exactly what a mini swinger meet and greet is.

What Is a Mini Swinger Meet and Greet?

A mini meet and greet is similar to a regular meet and greet but the guest list is much smaller and handpicked by the host or hosts. It’s a get-together of like-minded people to get to know each other. In this case, it’s a small group of swingers getting together to meet one another. They are usually held at a local bar but can be held in many places. I’ll go over that shortly.

Let’s take a quick look at why you should be holding mini swinger meet and greets instead of just meeting individual swinger couples or singles alone for the first time.

Why Hold Mini Swinger Meet and Greets Instead of Meeting Swingers One-On-One for the First Time?

Meeting new swingers that you met online for the first time many times does not always go as planned. Some flake out and don’t show, others show, and you quickly realize the pictures you looked at of them are very old and that they don’t look anything like the pictures.

Sometimes you are expecting to meet a couple and only the male shows. Of course, he says something like the wife had an emergency and could not make it. But she told him to go and meet the two of you so the two of you are not disappointed. Or some other crazy story. You quickly figure out that he is either a single male posing as a couple or a married man cheating on his wife. Some will even show up and say they have a hall pass from the wife. The bottom line is this is not what you expected to meet.

Some couples that show, assume the two of you are going to have sex with them, regardless of if the four of you hit it off or not. You will also run into couples that, usually the male half, is extremely aggressive and just won’t take no for an answer.

Mini meet and greets help to filter these out or make it easier for you to avoid them. The reason this works is because you are meeting with more than one swinger couple or single. You can quickly gravitate to the couples and singles you seem to hit it off with.

Also, what if you meet a couple and you just don’t get along with them? How do you just say goodbye and exit? If you are holding a mini swinger meet and greet, you can simply start mingling with the other guests you invited. You are the host, and of course, should not give all your attention to a single couple or single. You should mingle with all of your guests. This is a lot more comfortable when you have many guests, instead of just one couple or single swinger.

Since your focus is not on one couple or single swinger, your experience with meeting people usually goes a lot smoother and less stressful. You have not committed to any one couple or single, and it’s actually just a mini party you invited people to attend.

Let’s now move on to the importance of where you actually hold your mini swinger meet and greet.

Where to Hold a Mini Swinger Meet and Greet

Swinger lifestyle mini meet and greets can be held at several different locations, depending on your needs and security concerns. Here is a list of places you could easily hold a mini swinger meet and greet. All of these locations, except the last one, can be local or out of town if you have privacy concerns.

Bar or Nightclub: Personally, I feel the best place to hold a mini swinger meet and greet is at a bar or nightclub. People are expected to be socializing and flirting. So, you and your guests will blend right into the crowd. If the bar or nightclub has a dance floor, you can easily get one-on-one time with a guest by just asking them to dance.

When selecting a bar or nightclub, make sure it is not too loud so that you and your guests can really talk and get to know each other. Or the place at least has an area that is quieter. A bar or nightclub with an indoor and outdoor area usually works the best.

Restaurant: If you have a very small group of guests, meeting at a restaurant for dinner could work well. If you hit it off with a couple or single, or even a group of your guests, you can always head to a bar or nightclub after dinner.

Hotel Bar: A hotel bar can make a perfect place for your mini swinger meet and greet. They are usually quiet, intimate, and not too busy. Plus, if you are in the mood to play, you can always get a room at the hotel.

If you are wanting to hold a mini swinger meet and greet out of town, the hotel bar is the perfect location. Just book a room at the hotel. This gives you a great place to get ready for your party and a great place to entertain any guests you hit it off with after the meet and greet is over.

Hotel Room: If you are into voyeurism or exhibitionism, a hotel room could be a great choice for a mini swinger meet and greet. It’s an extremely intimate and private location. Just don’t be surprised if everyone gets along, that a little orgy just spontaneously happens.

I think you would be better off not holding a mini swinger meet and greet in a hotel room until you have held several at public locations though.

Your Home: You could hold a mini swinger meet and greet at your home, but I would advise against it. Inviting a group of total strangers into your home could be disastrous. Someone could damage something of value to you, steal from you, case your home to break in later, get extremely aggressive, etc. I’m sure you get the idea. Plus, do you really want everyone to know where you live? If you have any security or privacy concerns, scratch this one off your list. Save it for having private swinger parties where you already know all the guests very well.

Now that we have discussed where to hold a mini swinger meet and greet, let’s explore how to actually set one up.

How to Set Up a Mini Swinger Meet and Greet

The best place to set up a mini swinger meet and greets is at one of the top swinger members only sites. I’ll show you how to set up a mini swinger meet and greet on SDC and SLS. But first, let’s look at how to write the event description so it’s not confused as a public event or a commercial swinger party. The reason for this, is that most swinger sites do not allow self-promotion of commercial events. You need to word the description so the person that reviews your meet and greet realizes it is a private event and not being put on by a business.

Here is a sample description that should help you with creating your own:

“We are looking to get together for drinks at a local bar with a few couples and possibly a few select single males and single females. Looking to make new swinger friends. Send us a private message if you would like to join us.”

Notice how the sample description did not mention a party, meet and greet or an event.

Now that you know how to set up a mini swinger meet and greet, let’s look at who you should invite.

Who to Invite to a Mini Swinger Meet and Greet

You will most likely get a lot of responses from swinger couples and singles wanting to attend your mini swinger meet and greet. Now you need to decide who you will be inviting. If this is your first meet and greet, I would recommend inviting 3 or 4 couples and maybe a few singles. When deciding on the number of guests, always keep in mind where you will be holding your mini swinger meet and greet. Don’t go overboard and invite too many people. You want to keep these meet and greets small, but not too small.

As the responses come in from couples and singles, go visit their profiles and read them thoroughly. Also look at all of their pictures closely. Does this couple or single look interesting to you? Would you like to meet them? If so, write down their username. Do not invite them just yet. If you have no interest in them, just pass them over. You don’t have to invite everyone that asks to come to your event.

A few days before the planned meet and greet, go through your list of possible guests and narrow it down to a little more than the number you want to attend. This will allow for a few no shows. Once you have your desired guest list, start messaging them with information about the mini swinger meet and greet. Make sure you include the place, time and include a picture of the two of you dressed the way you will be hosting the event. This is so they can easily find you. Also mention that if they can’t attend, to please let you know so you can invite someone else. Also ask them to confirm they will be coming.

When inviting singles, first look at the couples you plan to invite. Are they looking for singles? Or do they have something in their profile that says NO SINGLES! If you invite singles, you should make sure all of the couples you are inviting also play with singles. You want to keep everyone coming looking for the same things. It makes for a better party and reduces possible friction.

Now that you have selected your guest list and invited them to your mini swinger meet and greet, let’s look at some tips for having a successful mini swinger meet and greet.

Tips for Having a Successful Mini Swinger Meet and Greet

Hopefully everyone wants their mini swinger meet and greet to go well, and for you and your guests to have fun. Here are some tips that can help you to have a successful and enjoyable mini swinger meet and greet.

Don’t be afraid to skip over someone that you don’t have an interest in. Only invite swingers that you are attracted to.

Make sure you mingle with your guests. Don’t let one couple or single dominate your time. You want to get to know all of your guests, not just one or two of them.

Make sure you greet each guest as soon as they arrive or as soon as possible.

As guests arrive and you greet them, introduce them to each of the guests that have already arrived.

After the meet and greet has been going on for a while and you have mingled with all of your guests, it’s OK to start gravitating and spending more time with any guests you are hitting it off well and are attracted to. After all, this is a swinger mini meet and greet.

Let’s now move on and discuss some of the problems that can pop up while hosting a mini swinger meet and greet.

Problems You May Encounter While Holding a Mini Swinger Meet and Greet

One thing you will need to understand is that a lot of people will say they are going to come to your meet and greet and not show up. This is just the nature of some people. So, don’t freak out if on occasion you have nobody show up for your mini swinger meet and greet. It’s just part of the game.

One of your party guests may drink too much and get drunk. Consider getting them a taxi to take them home.

You may encounter a guest that gets sexually aggressive. If that happens, you may want to ask them to leave or get them tossed from the location you are holding your mini swinger meet and greet. If you are in a bar or nightclub, you can usually alert the bouncer.

It is possible that the venue manager or owner discovers your group is a swingers group and has a personal problem with that. They may even ask you to leave. Hopefully this will never happen, just be prepared for it if it does.

You may have one of your guests complain about another guest. Decide beforehand how you will handle a situation like this.

The venue may come to you complaining about a guest being, let’s say, a little too flamboyant. Be prepared to talk to your guest and get them to act more appropriately or ask them to leave.
